At Brown’s 259th Opening Convocation, keynote speaker Tejal A. Desai urged students to seek out new perspectives and immerse themselves in research.
On Saturday, September 10, 2022, President Christina H. Paxson officially proclaimed the opening of Brown’s 259th academic year and welcomed students to campus. Sorensen Family Dean of Engineering Tejal A. Desai delivered the keynote address, “Breaking Boundaries and Building Bridges through Community and Collaboration.”
