At Brown’s 262nd Opening Convocation, keynote speaker Ethan Pollock urged students to embrace the unknown and to grow in new and unexpected ways during their time on campus.
On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, President Christina H. Paxson officially proclaimed the opening of Brown’s 262nd academic year and welcomed students to campus. Dean of the College Ethan Pollock delivered the keynote address, “Transitions and Transformations: Making the Most of Your Brown Education.”
